Extremely barbarous imitation tetradrachm, probably struck in Illyria or the Lower Danube region, after a tetradrachm of Philip V of Macedon minted at Pella. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing the lion-skin headdress. Reverse: scripted by in Greek Letters [A]ΛEΞANΔPOY; Zeus seated left on a low throne, holding a long scepter and an eagle with closed wings; club in left field, symbol(s) beneath the throne.
